LSS Professional Mentoring

The Professional Mentoring Program pairs students with a mentor from the legal profession, according to practice area and/or interest. It is a great opportunity for students to meet and network with lawyers, giving them invaluable insight into the day-to-day workings of legal practice. The program runs two rounds each year. Keep an eye out on Facebook to see when applications open.


  • Must be a Monash Law Student

Monash Law Ambassador Program

Join other law students from all year levels to create projects which will help peers and the community. Also represent Monash and various networking events and improve your leadership skills.


  • Meetings throughout the year. Be apart of a team and work on/implement a project within the year.


  • Must be a Monash Law student

Relevant skills developed:

  • Leadership skills, teamwork, networking

LSS Women's Law Mentoring Program

The Queer and Women’s Mentoring Program was introduced in 2019, and pairs students with legal professionals to strengthen students’ professional networks. This program allows students to gain an insight into the challenges faced by queer and women legal professionals and tear down these barriers. Mentors will include lawyers from various practice areas and in different sectors, including top commercial firms and community legal centres, as well as barristers and judicial officers.


  • Must be a Monash Law Student

Monash University Law Review

The Monash University Law Review is the flagship academic journal of Monash Law School, managed by student editors and supervised by faculty advisors.


  • Must be a Monash Law Student - second year or above
