SKILL BUILDING

NETWORKING

One of the benefits of our lives shifting online in 2020, has been that we don't even have to leave the house in order to network, from law student societies hosting virtual networking events with firms and online events hosted by Legal Industry bodies to harnessing the power of LinkedIn connections, our networking scope is broader then ever. It doesn't matter whether the person you want to connect with lives down the street or on the other side of the world, they're only a LinkedIn message or Zoom call away. The previously daunting idea of entering a room of professionals and trying to 'mingle' has been replaced with being able to jump into a Zoom room of potential professional connections in our Ugg boots and pyjama pants (with a business appropriate shirt, of course). So here are some resources to get you started when it comes to networking in the digital age.
